Our family of 11, ages 9 yrs old to 16 plus parents and grandparents were so excited to book a 6 hour deep Sea fishing Trip! Every person caught at least one big fish and several caught more than two! It was exciting to see fish jumping out of the water in front of dolphins then like clockwork, numerous poles went to work! Russel worked extremely hard at guiding each person as we reeled in fish after fish, setting lines, preventing tangles and whipping out all those pounds of filleted Redfish, Jacks and Spanish Mackerel! Captain Frank was on the money getting us on big fish! Not once, but several times our payoff was amazing. Memories to last a lifetime! Thank you seems not enough! I expected nothing short of excellence but my expectations were far short of what I received. I only give them 5 stars because ten is not an option. Plain and simple, if you want a charter that nothing could be any better, this is the one for you. My family and I were blown away by the crew and boat because as I said it far exceeded our expectations. Our catch was a record breaking one by far. Out of 13 people everyone was honestly tired of reeling in fish. Some exhausted to the point of needing sleep and that was even provided with comfortable bunk beds in the spacious air conditioned cabin. I’m hooked. We will definitely make this a recurring family event. Thank you captain Frank and first mate Mitch.

Captain Frank and first mate Cooper were great hosts. Kept our lines baited and in the water as much as possible. Caught lots of fish! Saw a beautiful sunset while heading back into port.

Our recent outing with Skipper Charters, booked through FishBooker for a day out from Biloxi, MS, was a mix of highs and lows that brought our family together on the water. Initially, we had high hopes for an 8-hour fishing spree with Captain Frank, especially after reassurances about the weather when I expressed concerns due to the forecast.

Mitchell, the deckhand, immediately impressed us with his skill and positive attitude, contributing significantly to the enjoyment of our trip. His dedication to ensuring we had a good time was evident and appreciated by all of us.

The catch of the day was modest, totaling around 30 white trout, each on the lighter side, which we managed to pack into a half-gallon zip-lock bag after dressing. Though the haul was less than expected, it was still rewarding to bring something home.

The highlight for us was the quality family time we spent together, made possible by the serene environment and the collective effort of trying to reel in our catches. Captain Frank’s commitment to our experience was further demonstrated when he reached out to other charters during our trip, seeking to improve our chances by comparing notes on fishing spots and catches. This gesture showed a proactive approach to ensuring we had the best possible outing.

However, the trip was cut short due to poor fishing and deteriorating weather conditions, with Captain Frank opting for safety and comfort by ending our day early. Although this was a letdown, especially considering our initial discussions about the weather, the captain’s decision to reduce the price in light of these circumstances was a fair gesture.

In reflection, while the catch and the shortened trip were not what we had hoped for, the effort made by the crew, the quality family time, and the actions taken by Captain Frank to salvage our day were commendable. It was a reminder of the unpredictable nature of fishing and weather, and the importance of adaptability and clear communication.

For those considering a trip with Skipper Charters, our experience shows that while not everything may go as planned, the dedication of the crew to provide a memorable experience is a constant.
