My wife and I took my parents out for a half-day fishing charter and Andy was the perfect captain for a great day out on the water. Great communication leading up to the day with details on when and where to meet. He made us all feel comfortable on the boat and took us to some amazing spots where we caught a bunch of fish and even saw some manatees. At the end of the day he cleaned our fish so we could cook them for dinner. He’s a super knowledgeable captain who taught us a bunch of interesting stuff and I’d highly recommend him for all levels, from those new to fishing to experts. Thanks Andy!

Captain Andy was awesome. The forecast for the day we originally had booked was slated for high winds and possible storms. Andy called three days prior to let us know that it might not work out. Luckily for us, another client ended up canceling on a different day. Andy called us and we were able to make it work. We caught several Snook, Red Fish and Speckled Trout. My wife mentioned that she really wanted to see manatees. Andy made it a special point to take us over by Cabbage Key where manatees are known to frequent. It was super cool to see three manatees in the wild. We had an amazing afternoon with Captain Andy and Hooked4Life Charters, and wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again!

We had the opportunity to experience everything listed in the headline with our charter. The captain was extremely knowledgeable about the fishery. He clearly had the experience and most importantly the love for sustainability of the fishery. For the greater cause. Our future generations. The captain would have let us fish and keep the fish caught, but asked if we would rather target a different species. Why? So he can keep the fishery he knows in place long term, to take kid’s fishing and catching fish. To bring the youth into fishing the right way.
This was a company event, we are a value based restoration contractor that prides ourselves on doing the right thing. He fell directly in our core values and we cannot speak more highly about him and his ethics.
Scheduling another event shortly, he is booked and we are waiting for the next opportunity.

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a fishing expedition with Andy, and I must say it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. As an avid angler, I have enlisted the services of various guides in the past, but Andy truly stood out for their exceptional skills, knowledge, and passion for the sport.

Andy was great with my nine year old nephew, he was patient and took the extra time to teach him the skills even though my nephew will tell you “he knows” when it comes to EVERYTHING :)  If you are trying to find a family friendly Captain, Andy is the way to go.
