I had the privilege of taking a group of boys out for a fishing trip for one of their birthdays. Aboard I had four boys one of their fathers and their grandfather. We discussed our fishing options and decided to keep the rods bent for the duration of our 4hr trip. We started by targeting trout and redfish, we landed a couple smaller redfish and a few slot sized trout. We decided to make a move to target snook. As soon as we arrived we began catching snook. We landed over 50 snook over the next couple hours. We made one more move to try for some bigger redfish, we had a couple on but they pulled the hook. We also landed a couple more snook and another nice trout in this spot. We fished in 80 degree weather which is great for the end of December.
