Four of us got on the boat (Viviana IV) at 7:00 am and departed quickly to pick up some live bait.  Headed straight out for about 1 1/2 hrs, water was really, really choppy and the boat was really rocking until about noon.  We only saw one or two other boats on the water all day.  Fishing reports were all said low catches.  We were all getting pretty frustrated, but then it was “fish on” and got the first hit of the day, a yellow fin tuna that was caught on a purple, glittered, jig.  The water was still pretty rough, but it was on.  The waves started to settle down and within the hour, “fish on” again with a skipjack on the same lure.  Next, within 1/2 hour, “fish on” again with another skipjack on the same lure.  In between, we lost two marlins and two tuna.  Our captain and mate then saw another marlin circling the area, live bait was thrown out and the marlin took the bait, but got off.  We circled back and threw out another live bait, and this time it was “fish on” and after a 45 minute back and forth fight, we landed a 140 lb beautiful striped marlin.  All of us caught a fish and it was a GREAT day of fishing!  Outstanding crew with a great sense of humor.  Highly recommend this boat and crew.  We will use them again when we return, and so should you.  I sound like a commercial, but there’s nothing like the thing.  The owners of the boat also met us after we returned - super nice people.

We gave the captain and mate 1/2 of the marlin.  They called the company located at the marine.  They pickup the fish at the boat and filleted all the fish for $20 USD.  Don’t forget to tip the person filleting the fish.  We took two large bags of fish back to our hotel and gave it to the hotel restaurant to prepare grilled and sashimi style - the best ever for our group of 17! It doesn’t get any better.  We had so much uncooked fish, we gave the rest to the hotel staff. 

Life is good in Cabo San Lucas - the best sport fishing in the world!  You just have to believe!

Awesome day. Caught a Dorado 10 minutes after putting lines out. After that we did some bottom fishing… caught some grouper, trigger fish, and snapper.  We told the skipper we wanted a big fish… and we got a huge Sailfish… 8 1/2 feet long and over 100 lbs. Outstanding day of fishing! Dugan, Sarah, Shelley, and Kurt.

Good crew, good boat, ok fishing, no complaints.  It’s fishing and you always hope for more fish.  We caught ten Skipjack amongst our group so at least we had action.  Many boats that day didn’t catch anything.  Our captain kept changing things up until we were catching fish.  Great weather.  We had the fish filleted at a local business as soon as we stepped off the boat for a great price while we went and had lunch.  I’m coming back in November and will charter again with this company.

We had a great experiance which was made possible by the crew. They took good care of us and were very experianced with marlin!
