Wasn’t sure what to expect when we chose a 3 hour evening fishing trip with Blake. Happy to say that he was a great guide taking us to where he knew the fish were biting. We caught sheep’s head, Spanish Mackrel, trout, red drum, black drum, regular mackerel.  - Blake brought live shrimp and minnows and we literally started catching with two minutes of fishing. Blake is a very experienced guide and he’s super attentive to ensure you have a great experience. We plan to call him to book a trip each time we come back to Galveston. Highly recommend him! Boat is clean and looks new(for what that’s worth!)

I booked a morning trip with Blake while on vacation from Kansas City on Oct. 17. Blake had me catching Flounder within 15 minutes of arriving at our first stop.  The weather was rough & cool, so we couldn’t fish the Bay. We fished the Harbor to stay out of the wind. I forgot how many fish we caught (I elected to catch & release) in 4 hours & it was a blast!  I’m an experienced freshwater angler, so I want to thank Blake for teaching me some new tricks & some great conversation.  I’ll be back.

I initially signed my husband and his brother up for a late afternoon 5 hour trip. Captain Blake messaged me and asked if we would be okay with a night trip from 730pm to 1230am as the fishing had been better at night especially with the full moon. My husband was very excited about the night trip and had a blast, they caught a ton of fish as well. Would highly recommend Captain Blake.

Had a great day with Capt. Blake. He was very patient with us and our limited knowledge. We pulled up a lot more than the picture shows. They were just a tad bit too short to keep. I can’t wait to go again with Capt Blake next time I want to try wading.

Blake had us on big fish all morning and got some fat trout and even fatter reds in the cooler. He’s got a spot where we tied up a gnarly Jack Crevelle but lost it about five feet from the net after a 20 minute workout and a broke treble hook. Great people person with good fishing holes dialed in. Will be back with Blake to do some wade fishing to get that last big red that I missed this trip, and few more of those sow trout.
