This is our last 1/2 day with the guys from Norway and we decided to go look for some mahis. We trolled in incredible blue water for 2.5 hours and found no trash lines and only a couple of weak currents. we had a couple of hits from small fish so we decided to give it all on the jigging.. Not a bad idea! We started with a golden trevally followed by all the jacks you could handle up to 12-14 lbs. We also caught a sculpin and 2 mackerels and lost a bunch as well. I had a massive hit on the way down but couldnt get a good hook set...Lots of fun for everyone.
