Book your next trip with Bag’em Fishing Charters and get the most out of Tampa Bay! Captain Bucky is a USCG licensed and permitted guide who offers light tackle, spin, and fly fishing trips. He was successfully guiding on the east coast in the world famous Mosquito Lagoon for the past five years, when life called and he had to relocate his family to Tampa. Now he is ready to bring his passion and knowledge to the west coast. Join him and reel in a catch to remember!
Step aboard 17’ Mitzi Skiff originally built in 2002 and restored in 2016. Powered by a 60 HP Suzuki engine, this vessel boasts a maximum cruising speed of 32 knots. Capt. Bucky takes up to two passengers on board, which leaves plenty of space for you to fish in comfort. Children age five and above are welcome.
Having grown up fishing the west coast in Sarasota, Capt. Bucky knows a thing or two about the fish in these waters. He will slowly and skillfully pole you around the flats in search of Snook, Redfish, and Trout that can be easily sight fished. There is nothing more exciting than casting to a tailing Redfish or watching a Snook smash a topwater plug! You are likely to reel in plenty of other species in these waters as well, such as Jack Crevalle and Cobia on occasion.
Bag’em Fishing Charters include a fishing license and top of the line gear, featuring St. Croix rods matched with Penn reels. Fly fishermen are welcome to bring their own gear on board, too. Depending on the species, you may keep your catch and Capt. Bucky will clean and fillet it for you.
Capt. Bucky can’t wait to spend a day on the water with you, so book your trip and join him today!
