This may have been the best charter of my life.  The crew was awesome, friendly, extremely knowledgeable.  Had a few tricks that I hadn’t seen in 50 yrs of fishing.  Mate was skilled, and really added to the great time we all had.  Doesn’t hurt that we were slaying the fish almost the entire time.  Kids were “tired of reeling”, we will be back with this crew in the future.

Second trip for our family using this charter and we can’t say enough wonderful things about Keith, Pat and the great experiences they have given our family.  They go above and beyond to make sure our 8 year old has a great time (and out-fishes us) all while mom and dad get to fish too!  Non-stop action both times we have been out with this great charter. Needless to say we will use them again in the future! And can’t wait to make more great memories!

We were fortunate to spend the Fourth of July with Keith and Kash. While on a family vacation, we decided to go on a fishing charter. Offshore Addict Charters responded immediately and accommodated all of our needs. They made us feel like family the whole time. Pat and Keith made it a great event while on vacation. Solid day on the water with a team that has the Gulf mapped out. Our group consisted of a few first timers and a few who’ve been out deep before but all were welcomed, encouraged, and helped. We skirted sandy and hard bottoms on our 5-6 hour charter and fed a family of 16 that night with the day’s catch.

We were worried about the storm not clearing in time. The seas were really high and the wind was blowing heavy on Wednesday and Thursday, but caught a break Thursday night and Friday morning was nearly perfect. Slightly overcast to cut out the heat, so overall wonderful weather. Captain Keith kept in touch with me for a couple days prior just to make sure we knew what was going on and how the seas were faring.

We went out about 20 miles and did some deep drifting. Literally as soon as our bait hit bottom we were tightening lines. The entire trip was multiple catches one after the other, had multiple double ups and some triples. Overall we caught around 150 fish between 4 of us. We had to start culling toward the end haha! I feel for Keith and Nick, they had another trip right after and still had to clean our fish. Kept 100 fish, Lane Snapper, Grunt, Sea Bass, Porgy’s and Sand Perch. We even caught a few red grouper, just weren’t big enough to keep. I couldn’t wait any longer and already had to make some ceviche this morning, it was perfect after some morning sun.

I highly recommend going out with Offshore Addicts. They were a lot of fun to hang out with and my boys enjoyed every minute of the trip. Definitely going to meet up with them next year and see if we can get on some Red Snapper and Grouper! Tight Lines!
