You’ve probably been hearing stories about the fantastic fishing in the Chesapeake Bay for years now. Well, Elligail is here to tell you that they are absolutely true. Join Captain Chuck Woodfield for a trip, and he’ll show you just why the Bay has its strong reputation.

Climb aboard Chuck’s impressive 52’ custom-built deadrise boat. The flat V-shape of her bottom hull is very useful in deeper waters and makes for a stable and dry ride even when the Chesapeake Bay turns rough. This big boat can accommodate up to 30 guests – the extremely spacious back deck allows for easy movement, even if multiple anglers are chasing the bite at the same time. She’s powered by twin Cummins engines with a total of 1800 HP.

Check the bite for Striped Bass, starting your trip out of the beautiful Rock Hall Harbor. You’ll fish all over the Bay for these hard-fighting fish. Capt. Chuck has been fishing these waters for over 3 decades and he’s more than happy to share with you the tricks he’s learned.

You’ll be supplied with all the required equipment for this fishing excursion, as well as all the instruction Capt. Chuck can provide. After you’ve fished your heart out he’ll even clean and fillet your catch – remember to pack a cooler in the car.

Captain Chuck Woodfield has been fishing the waters of the Chesapeake Bay since he was 13. 30 years have passed and he still hits the water with the same passion! He's fished all over the Upper Bay and is keen on showing you the best spots. He cut his teeth with commercial fishing and now he's happy guiding customers on exciting fishing trips.
