You’ll target Crappie by light tackle fishing, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. You’re welcome to take home your catch, and the captain will clean it and bag it, so you can take your fish and throw it right into the pan. Now that’s dinner!

You’ll be casting lines from a 20’ Bass boat that holds up to 3 passengers. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this, so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.

Born and raised in Southern Illinois I have fished extensively all the lakes in Southern Illinois. Currently we guide on Lake of Egypt, Rend Lake, and Kinkaid. I can accommodate any size group as I have several professional anglers I can pull from to accommodate your experience and outing. My focus is for you to have a A+ experience. My boat and technology are the best in the industry, and I make sure all guided trips are A+ experiences with your needs in mind. You will be boarding a clean boat, top of the line equipment and a guide that is catering to your needs not his own. Plan on learning about the craft of live scoping (newest technology), and enjoying the day. If you want to set back and relax we can do that too. The day is yours.
