So I booked this trip for myself and my three young sons. We had a great time with Capt Keith he is a great guy. Only thing was the fish just were not cooperative or just not around and I ended up with only two keeper sheepshead. It was not for lack of trying because the Capt took us two probably a dozen different spots that day. Fish just were not around or only small ones stealing our bait. It was cold and breezy that day but like I have said we still enjoyed it and I learned some things from Capt Keith that day he also showed me some great spots to come back to in our own boat to try that he knew. If the weather was better and we could have went further out into the Gulf I am positive that we would have had auch better haul but it was just too rough for that on the day I chose. We will go out with him again maybe in the spring when fishing is better. I seem to have chosen a poor time of the year to go.  He even followed up with a text after that night and offered to let us tag along if he was to head out solo on a scouting trip. I hope we do get together for that! And wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again. He has a great attitude and is very personable. Had a strange run in with a angry park attendant first thing that day and Keith took care of it and apologized as he said it had never happened with any other clients. Any day on the water is better than a day in the house and we enjoyed our time with Capt Keith Salty Pirate charters.

We booked a 5-hour trip with Captain Mike. From the very beginning, the communication was fantastic and he was sure to answer all of our questions, even the dumb ones. Prior to the charter, he was in touch and gave us some different options bc of the extreme heat. We chose to leave at 6AM and was able to see a beautiful sunrise on the Harbour.  Captain Mike was sure to explain many aspects of fishing and answered all of our questions about the history of the area, fish, etc…. All the while he monitored the fishing and the current wind conditions to be sure we were safe but also catching fish. We can’t thank him enough for a great trip!  Highly recommended!!

Keith catered to us three couples to make sure we got the experience we were wishing for! Amazing captain, knowledgeable on local history and landmarks, and a true patriot.
