These waters are home to Trophy Largemouth Bass as well as most of the other common Texas freshwater species.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Ross operates a fully loaded 21’ Phoenix bass boat with a capacity for 2 passengers with an option for one more person at an increased rate. It has all the essentials including Hummingbird Mega 360 and Garmin Panoptix.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. All rods are custom-built in Texas, Power Tackle Rods paired with Shimano or Lew’s reels.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
