Captain Kinz was great.  My 11 year old son and I went on a morning trip April 4.  She was knowledgeable, professional, and very personable. Did we catch fish? absolutely but more importantly we had a great time.  We were on the water for over 5 hours but we did so many different things and targeted so many different species that the time flew by.  It is not easy keeping an 11 year entertained that long but when you get back to port and your son says “Dad that was the best trip ever.” you know the trip was a success.  Hate leaving such a great review being it will be that much harder for me to book a trip next year :-) but it is well deserved. Thank you!

Great Fishing Trip with Captain McKinsey.  She is local to the area and knows her stuff. She was great at sharing about the local area and local wildlife and pointing out Herons and their nests. We wanted to catch smaller fish that we could catch to eat and did she deliver!  She had us catching fish in every spot we stopped at. We caught Jack, Catfish, Black Drum, and a couple of red fish that we had to throw back in. We took the Black Drum home to eat and they were delicious. We had a good time and I look forward to going again the next time we come down. Thank you Captain McKinsey!

Our group of novices was looking for a fun time, catch a little and learn a little from a pro. After a few convos with the captain we knew before we stepped on board we hit a bullseye. 

From the start, the captain did everything to stay in contact with us and work with all of our requests.  Then on board she clearly knew her stuff with gentle advice or showing by example at the same time showing us she clearly was born with a fishing pole in her hand. 

All through the 4 hours the conversion was lively about whatever fish topic came up fish or non fish.  She clearly wanted us to have fun and we walked off excited with a ‘this was such a great vacation idea’.

Everything was so laid back and fun with Capt Mckinsey!  Perfect shallow drafting boat and gear, but the best part was she’s an excellent guide and one of the most memorable persons I’ve ever met. She’s super smart—she knows the water, tides, fish, environmental conditions, and she put us on fish! Also, what a super personality, just so fun to talk with!  So much, we asked to eat dinner with her after the trip and she took us to an awesome restaurant.  I’ve always wanted to fish with a female guide, and so glad I finally found one.  She’s better than any guide I’ve ever fished with.  Seriously, and I can’t wait to get back out with her!

Went out with 3 family members for my son’s birthday. Had a great time thanks to McKinsey. 100% would recommend her. She had lots of great tips and tricks for how to set-up the tackle also very good with kids she listened to all Jr’s Stories and treats you like family. She also taught Junior how to throw a cast net now he’s so excited to perfect his skills to catch fresh mullet. We did have some poor weather at the end Which turned into a great lesson on how to drive the boat in rougher weather.  I will be booking with her again for sure
