Wow what a weekend!! Bull reds are coming in. Shrimp boats are getting more productive. Big sharks and red snapper. New boat record for red snapper(30 Inches). Also got spooled myself for the first time ever. Just couldn't get the fish to turn. Had to have been either a very large tarpon or a large bull shark. It made one of the biggest splashes I have ever seen when it broke the line at the reel. We caught 6 state limits of red snapper on Saturday. Sunday we caught two black tip sharks that weighed 55 snd 45 pounds. Caught 5 cobia that were too small to keep but saw many more that were legal and couldn't get them to bite. Fishing just couldn't get any better i don't think. The $150 trip is really paying off for all of our customers right now. Tight lines!!
