As we head into November, look for lots more sheepshead, spanish mackerel,bonefish, pompano, tripletail and drum here in Stuart, Florida. The pompano are just starting to show up here in Jensen Beach and will continue to improve the next 5 months. Either bouncing pompano jigs or shrimp on trollrite jigs work well. Also look for bonefish in the flats. For Spanish Mackerel I like to cast Gulfstream minnow jigs. When the seas are flat, we fish just off the beach and can really load up on the macs which make great smoked fish dip we call smack. Tripletail, sheepshead and drum will be near structures.
