Kepasa is a 42’ Hatteras with a maximum passenger capacity of 8 anglers, certified by ‘Scheepvaart Inspectie’.
Whether its your first time fishing or you’re a veteran deep sea angler, Mahi Mahi Charters are equally resolute to showing you a great time aboard Kepasa, and taking you on a memorable fishing adventure on the productive offshore grounds of Aruba.
Seaport Marina is where Kepasa departs from, with the dock sitting just a few minutes away from the drop off, which means the bite is sometimes on in as little as 10 minutes. Kepasa is also close to the cruise ship terminal, allowing the team to take care of the logistics for anglers coming to Aruba via cruise ship.
Many of Kepasa’s clients inquire about eating the fish they caught in a classy nearby restaurant. If you feel the same way, the team recommends taking your catch to a local restaurant like Que Pasa after your trip and have a personal meal prepared, unlike any other. The crew will also provide your group with sandwiches on all 8-hour trips.
Captains Peter, Rudolf and Roy of Mahi Mahi Charters have been fishing the productive waters of Aruba for many years, and have fought countless big game fish in their careers. Common targets include Billfish (both Sailfish and Marlin), as well as Mahi Mahi and Dorado, Mackerel and Bonito, Amberjack, Tuna and many others, relative to the time of year.
The daily catch is usually divided between the clients and crew members. Although the crew is flexible when it comes to the ratios, between 10 and 30% of the fish caught is generally kept by the guests, while the rest is split between the deckhands.
