Geaux South Fishing Adventures offers charters to the many oil and gas platforms that are located just offshore of Venice, Louisiana. The charter is a real family business and will be operated by Captain Tommy Brunell and first mates Kerry and Devin Brunell. They offer an unparalleled customer service as they are in sync with one another and have a three lifetimes of fishing experience between them.
Come fish aboard Captain Tommy’s brand new 29’ Grady White catamaran. It is powered by two 300 HP Yamaha engines. The boat’s top speed is 45 knots, meaning you’ll reach the deep rapidly. The vessel contains all the necessary safety gear. The Brunells only use the best navigation: 2 Lowrance HD’s 12 Units GPS, a fishfinder, a VHF radio, a radar, and even a night vision camera. You will ride out and come in after a long day’s fishing in luxury seating!
Offshore, you’ll have the chance to target Mahi Mahi, big Mako Sharks, as well as bottom fish Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, Amberjack, and many other reef species. You can also choose to explore inshore waters to hook Speckled Trout, huge bull Reds, and whatever else is biting.
With such a range of fish to catch, you’ll need to utilize multiple techniques. From spinning to trolling, to jigging, to bottom fishing: your captain offers them all and will be on hand to show you the ropes. All the equipment necessary will be provided to make your trip as fruitful as possible.
With space for up to 5 guests, and children welcome aboard, it’s the ideal charter for a family or group gathering. This boat has everything you need for a nearshore or an offshore overnight adventure.
Be prepared to have your mind blown as you drift out into the Gulf with Geaux South Adventures. What’s stopping you?
Please note that customers must pay for fuel consumption on offshore trips. The cost for fuel usually ranges from $275 to $400, but mainly around $400.
