I waited until the very last minute to book our fishing trip and should have booked it sooner.  By the time I booked, only afternoons were left.  He did tell me mornings are better, but it was not an option.  That morning they caught a lot of fish on the morning trip, but on my trip in the afternoon we did not catch any fish.  The boat was nice, they had water, beer, watermelon and pineapple, chips and the captain and first mate were very attentive.  My only suggestion or comment to others is that when I booked through the app, I thought I was paying via credit card on the app, but when I arrived to the location I was told to go, I was asked to pay with cash.  This took all of the cash I had brought with me for the whole trip and I would have probably not gone if I had known I had to pay cash.  But it was a great 4 hours on the water, we saw dolphins and got a different view of Costa Rica.  I would go back with the same crew again, but I would book ahead and go in the morning.

Our trip included 6 of us in total and we were able to catch 4 sailfish and keep 2 Mahi Mahi. We also saw hundreds of dolphins all at once who stayed with us for hours! I have never witnessed so many and could never explain how incredible it was. Our guides were great and accommodated any requests we made. The water was very choppy and a couple of our group were sea sick, so keep that in mind if you have trouble with that, but this was a very enjoyable trip.

Captain Carlos and 1st mate Daniel are the real deal! Fishing started out slow but they kept fresh baits on and a sharp eye out through out the day.  After losing a nice Mahi close to the boat after a long fight and spectacular an acrobatic show….it pulled the hook… it happens 😔, we ended the day with 3 very nice yellow fin tuna!. The sandwiches, fresh fruit, snacks and drinks were all more than we could ask for.  Thanks to Captain Mauricio for ensuring everything went off without a hitch!

Karlos and Daniel put us on the fish.  We landed 5 nice Mahi and one very nice sailfish.  Very professional.  Had seven lines in the water.  Once we missed a bit and the circled back and we caught a double of Mahi.  They had food and beer for us and they filleted the Mahi.  There were just two of us fishing, so we kept busy.

Great boat, great crew !!! We caught lots of fish however even if we did not catch anything.Still would have given 5 stars all around. Fishing is fishing sometimes you don’t catch anything.  The crew worked hard the entire trip ,had plenty of drinks and snacks for us and boat was superb !!!  Definitely would go on again !!!
