Ursula IV, a spacious 34’ Crystaliner, is one of the most requested boats in Captain Olter’s fleet. Fully refitted in October 2018, she features a brand new 380 HP Cummins engine, making her one of the faster charters in the marina. The boat is equipped with two fighting chairs, a flybridge with twin canopies, a private bathroom, spacious deck and a cabin for relaxing. The vessel has a wide beam and plenty of space for fishing.
Captain and owner Olter Schcolnick has been in this business for over 32 years, fishing in Cabo since 1983. Ursula IV is captained either by Olter or Captain Manuel Acuña. He was born in Mazatlan, 190 miles east of Cabo. His passion for fishing led him to become a captain and, with more than 35 years of experience, he knows all the best fishing grounds in the Cabo area. Miguel Ibarra, a Cabo native, will always be First Mate.
Ursula IV carries high-quality fishing equipment, such as Calstar & Milton custom rods, and Shimano two speed reels. She sports an array of electronics such as GPS with Chart Plotter, two VHF radios - ship to shore & Private - and a Furuno Fish Finder.
Fishing in Cabo San Lucas is one of the most intense fishing experiences in Mexico, allowing you to catch fish like Marlin, Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna or Wahoo. The Ursula team fishes for all of these and more, and supports catch and release of all Billfish. Captain Olter is also happy to tailor your trip to include snorkeling at no extra charge.
The only thing left to do is get booking and get ready for the trip of a lifetime. Additional costs not included in the trip price, include fishing licenses: $18 per person for everyone over 12 years old, Live Bait: $30.00 for 10 is suggested, and a lunch box for $17 per person, should you want.
