Fishing Oman offers multiday fishing trips in one of the last untouched fisheries in the world - the Sultanate of Oman. Here, anglers will find hospitality, scenic landscape, and super big Giant Trevally. Even more, you’ll go after Tuna, Amberjacks, Groupers, and Snapper.
When you land, there is an air-conditioned van to take you to the lodge where you will be staying. It’s a two hour ride away. The vans have trailers where you can store luggage and the fishing gear.
Lying in the village of Hasik, your lodge is furnished and clean, with daily housekeeping, fully equipped kitchen, three meals a day, and drinks. You will also have transportation arranged when going for a fishing trip. The main fishing grounds are the Hallaniyat islands, where real beasts swim. Look out for record weights and sizes!
It’s best if you bring your own fishing gear. Serious anglers find comfort in using their own equipment, but if you’d rather not bring it along, the fishing gear can be rented or purchased at extra charge. You will need the stamina to land these massive fish. The best bite is in October and November, and from March to April.
You will be fishing from a 31’ Silvercraft boat made for saltwater fishing. She has seating space for eight anglers. The boat is powered by two 200 HP Yamaha engine, has an ice box, stores safety equipment, and is rigged with GPS and a fishfinder.
The experienced crew will be at your disposal. They’re fluent in English, and will give their best to deliver a top-notch fishing experience in Oman. To get the idea of how big the fish are, and how the lodge looks, have a look at the gallery above. What’s great is that Fishing Oman has more than one boat - scroll down, and click on their name to see available dates and packages on other vessels.
