This clean and seaworthy vessel comes powered by twin 225 HP Mercury engines to get you to the fishing grounds quickly and safely. The Big Jig is outfitted with latest navigational and fish finding electronics, ready for action. This serious offshore fishing machine is capable of 45 knots. There s no time wasted getting to the fishing grounds - it’s pure fishing!
Extreme Academy Koh Tao is operated by Captain Tobin Whiting. His fishing repertoire includes battling Marlin and other big Pelagic fish in Sydney for the past two decades. Captain Tobin will put share his knowledge and expertise with all his guests, catering to your specific needs and wishes.
Head out to the reefs and target Wahoo, Queenfish, Jacks, and Spanish Mackerel with light and ultra light tackle. Or let your captain take you fishing the many offshore pinnacles and around the islands for Marlin. All aboard!
Whether you want to check the bite on a half day trip or get the waters all to yourself on a full day adventure, you will be provided with the best equipment available. Captain Tobin uses tackle from top brands, such as Penn, Daiwa, Shimano, Hotz, and others. You will also be provided with lures by Joe Yee, Pakula, Kona, Rapalo, and Black Bart. All trips come with fishing licenses, so you won’t have to worry about anything but catching fish!
