Second Nature Charters welcomes you down to the beautiful waters of Apalachicola, FL, to target some of the area’s top table and game fish. Battle big game pelagics like Marlin and Sailfish offshore, or drop your lines for tasty Snapper and Grouper for a huge haul of delicious table fish. Whatever you do, you’re in for a great time.
The thing that sets these guys above the rest is that they are all about the fishing and they let nothing stand in their way. All your bait and gear is prepped ahead of the trip, so you can get right out to the best waters without wasting your precious time at the dock.
And you won’t waste time on the water, either. Captain Rick’s 30’ Grady White sportfisher can cruise at a staggering 45 knots to get you offshore fast. She’s not just some stripped-down center console, though. The vessel boasts masses of stable fishing space, an covered top to protect you from the sun, and a comfortable cabin with a full bathroom for extra comfort on long trips offshore.
How far offshore you go depends on the trip you book. With his Federal Reef and Pelagic permit, Capt. Rick is not limited to state waters. Even on a half day, you could be traveling 10-20 miles out in search of Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, and King Mackerel. Book for the whole day, and you could head well over 30 miles from land to battle monster Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Tuna!
The team at Second Nature Charters think you should be paying for the fishing, nothing else. All tackle, bait, lures, and licenses are included, as are fuel, drinks, and cleaning and filleting of all your catch. Anglers of any age or experience level are welcome aboard, and Captain Rick will make sure everyone is fishing like a pro by the end of the day. So step aboard, and get ready for the trip of a lifetime!
