Mike was a great captain, patient teaching my kids, very technical with all fishing techniques and all around nice guy. I would definitely book with Mike again.

Great trip on the Teachers Pet. Captain is very knowledgable and very willing to share that knowledge. He really works to find and get the fish.

We had none stop action for the first three hours. Then it slowed down to more normal pace.

Capt Karl was top notch throughout the entire day! Perfect weather Sea Bass and Fluke were running hard and we had a blast!

Captain Karl was a very nice and professional guide. Unfortunately we did not land the flounder we were hoping for (we caught some, but were undersized and had to put them back). However, we were fortunate to land bluefish, porgie and tons of black sea bass. Highlands is a very nice town (I prefer it over Long Island). Has a lovely beach, church and various seafood options (although they can be expensive). Definitely recommend for a weekend get away for anyone in the New York metropolitan area.

Great captain and boat. Works hard to get u on the fish. And super patient with my 11 year old son.

My dad used to fish for flounder when he was a teenager, so for Father’s Day, I surprised him with this fishing trip :) We truly had the best time. Captain Karl is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I haven’t fished too many times, so his guidance was extremely appreciated. With his help, I was catching fish left and right! After we left, my dad said it was the “perfect day,” and I think that sums everything up pretty perfectly :) Thank you so much Captain!!!

Captain Gerry and Tim were excellent. Had us on fish from 1st line I. Water, highly recommend and will use again.

Caught some big Stripers with Eels as bait. Captain and First Mate were the best! Couldn’t have been better!

Hit our limit with the first 2 hours, then we caught another 28. By far the best fishing trip we had. Captain Jerry and First Mate Tim did an outstanding job. Thank you so much looking forward to seeing you in November.

Right Boat and crew but on the wrong day. We went out and unfortunately they weren’t biting. Great conditions but fish just weren’t biting. Cap kept us out a bit longer to try and get them on but they weren’t biting at all. The effort going from trolling to jigging and chased them all day. Great hardworking crew. Me and everyone in my party would use again, luck of the draw a lot of days but Cap Jerry was the best and a good time was still had by all. We will be back.

Wow what a day! My wife and I celebrated my 59th birthday with Cptn Karl. Down to earth, taught us tons about the specific nuances of fishing the highlands. Got a 4pound keeper and great action. We will return

Capt is nice and knows the water, boat is a little smaller but good en for 2/3 people. It’s a fish boat not a drinking boat- just and FYI- overall it was a good time

In shore. Too much wind to go offshore. Had autistic 18 year old grandson and 2 other adults who were inexperienced. One adult got sea sick. Everyone else caught lots of fish, but no keepers. Captain Jerry and mate Steve were cheerful, patient, and kind, especially to autistic young man, who had never caught a fish. It was a beautiful, sunny day and everyone had a ball.

It was our first experience actually going out in the water and fish. We were pretty inexperienced when it came to fishing but captain Karl made us feel very comfortable. He was also very knowledgeable and with his help we were about to catch some decent size fishes. It was a very memorable experience and I would highly recommend him. Looking forward to our next fishing trip with captain Karl

Capt Karl was great, he got us right to the fish and taught us some new tricks. We had a great time and went home with dinner in the cooler :) We'll definitely be coming back!
