Come aboard with Capt. Matt, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, kite fishing, popping, and spinning.  We will be looking for King Mackerel, Dolphin, Cobia, Black Drum, Bluefish, and Grouper, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.

Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Spanish Mackerel, Gag Grouper, Vermilion Snapper, Black Seabass, Cobia, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the season. You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Steele can also show you kite fishing.

Your trip will start on a 26ft center console that runs on twin 150HP Yamaha engines. The boat has got enough space to sit 4 anglers, uses modern GPS and fishfinder technology for navigation, and is equipped with a livewell to supply you with live bait. You will also have an ice box so you can store fish and drinks.

These waters are known for Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Black Seabass, Blacktip Shark, Great Barracuda, and more. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!
