Happy Thanksgiving everyone and if you are not in Key West yet all I can say is why not. You wont find many cozy fireplaces here, but then again who needs them being located so close to the end of the rainbow. If you are tired of that same old traditional turkey dinner, you should be in Key West where the elusive wahoo have made a Thanksgiving appearance. On a recent trip our customers experienced some great wahoo action, and plan on eating the turkey of the ocean for dinner. The other white meat. Fall Fishing Is On

On a recent trip to the Gulfstream South of Key West Capt. Conch Charters put there customers on the fish in a big hurry. We only had two of the 5 lines in the water when we hooked our first tuna,. From That moment on our beautifull new mate Brandy was kept very busy. We ended up with 10 blackfin tuna, 7 mahi. and topped it off with a nice sailfish.

Well We have finally dug out of the storm. Key West is open for business and fantasy fest lived up to all of its expectations. The fishing has recovered also, we have been catching numerous black fin tuna mixed with mahi mahi and the occasional sailfish. Our fall run of sailfish is just beginning, so make your plans to visit Key West and catch yourself a sailfish.

Hurricane Irma Update

Hurricane Irma is long gone thank God, but the aftermath is in full swing. Key West as well as all the Keys have been dealt a catastrophic blow. We are down, but we are far from out. To say that it has been hard Is an understatement, but thanks to the heroes that are working hard to restore our resources we are on the mend. It has been announced that we are trying for a October 20th re-opening of the Keys to our northern friends. We are all working hard towards that goal, as we cant wait to see you. In the meantime say a prayer for all the hurricane victims who are suffering through the aftermath of natures fury. Follow us on Facebook to see some videos of the storm.

72 Pound Wahoo Anyone

On a recent trip aboard Capt. Conch Charters The infamous Capt. Tony and our first mate wahoo jerry put there crew onto a fine catch of mahi and one huge wahoo, which tipped the scale at 72 pounds. It looks like our fall fishing is going to be outrageous so make your plans now to visit us in Key West. The Capt. Summer mahi and fall tuna collided recently to create a fishing bonanza for Capt. Conchs fishermen recently. The summer mahi fishery is far from over and the Capt. Conch crew has been doing well, recently the tuna have made an early appearance creating some great fishing opportunities. Steve and Eddie did a great job. Good attitude and put us on a bunch of Yellowtail. We tried trolling for about an hour with no luck. Not a single bite. After that we moved and were quickly catching Yellowtail and grunts (or Key West pork chop as they called it). My wife was wanting to catch a big fish and right at the end of day she reeled in a 19 inch Mutton Snapper. Fish of the Day!! Would recommend them and will book them again.

We were so happy we were able to book a shared charter on 9/7/21. We went out on the reef runner with Captain Tony and Brian. Fished with 2 other nice couples. The barracudas really did some biting that day and almost everyone caught one. We actually caught 4. Two other really large ones were caught by another couple. There was also yellow tail snappers, mutton tail snappers and a grouper. Not all were able to be kept due the size restrictions. Capt Tony and Brian worked hard to ensure we... Еще

Great captain and mate. Good fishing the first hour - caught Spanish Mackerel to feed us all. Big game fishe were elusive for all the boats out there. Took our catch to Hurricane Hole for dinner and it was awesome. If you haven’t done this before, I highly recommend it.
