The Hitman Sportsfishing team was excellent! They made our trip fun and relaxing and were excellent with the two kids we had on board— got them involved in fishing, taught them about the fish they caught, and were great company to be on a boat with. We will definitely book with them again!

A beautiful sunrise on the way to Oregon Inlet set the mood for the rest of the day. No sooner had we slowed to trolling speed and the mate get all four lines in the water that we had our first “fish on”. As we took turns reeling in the first we each had time to ask questions and get interesting facts in return from the mate, Charles. Wonderful trip, plenty of action and advice.

The captain and deckhand went above and beyond to get us in the tuna we were after. They didn’t hesitate if we had to move to different area to get us on the tuna. Highly recommend this trip.

First off they captain and first mate were super nice and kept things interesting. They taught us different things about fishing like how to let the line go without tangling it with the other lines and how to de-hook a fish with out running the risk of hurting yourself. The boat was also very clean and comfortable.

In all honesty, I thought the trip was going to be a bust, but Captain Byrd and Charles turned it into a great first time fishing trip for the family. We started by trolling for Spanish Mackerel, and after Charles noticed that one of the fish had just gotten away from a shark, we spent several hours fishing for and catching shark.
