We booked originally a four hour afternoon trip.  We were able to move the trip to late morning and when we arrived, Captain Eddie said it was a great day for fishing and wondered if we wanted to maybe do a 5 hour trip to ensure we can get on the fish.  We agreed and we loved the time with them.  We caught our limit of vermillion snapper and couldn’t rate high enough the experience.  We took our 3 year old Cavapoo dog, named Frankie, and he was welcomed and enjoyed the trip, too.  Quite honestly, I couldn’t have had a better time on the boat than we had today.  After docking and cleaning the fish, the crew also told us of the restaurant that would cook part of our catch for our dinner.  Amazing!  When we come back to Orange Beach, I will book Sure Shot once again because they are first class.  Thank you!  Dan Bryant

This was our first ever fishing trip so we didn’t know what to expect. We booked a 4 hour trip and by the time we got back wished we had booked an all day trip because we had so much fun. Our 2 teenagers loved it too. Captain Mike was a wealth of knowledge and so fun to listen to his stories. His deckhand Bryant was great to talk to and was so patient as we all reeled in our fish. None of us gets seasick but I could see where anyone with any type of motion sickness would. We can’t wait to come back and book with Captain Mike and the Sure Shot again!!

My father inlaw has had a year of medical nightmares. His bucket list had a fishing trip in the gulf, we didn’t think he could manage it, but capt Mike and derek pulled off the most amazing morning!!!!! He caught more fish than he could handle, had a marvelous time   Bucket list item completed!!!
He was then able to feed the family his catch and tell tall fish tales during dinner I’m sure those tall tales will grow with time.
