I give this Captain and Mate a 10 on my scale of fishing. Great local knowledge is the key. We were in the deep water in no time, ripping 12 knots threw all the shallower waters inshore around the reefs to get there. Josh are Mate had all the lines in the water in no time. Trolling a nice spread. We put 1 mahi and 2 Wahoo in the box. Later we switched to drifting and chumming for Tuna. 4 yellow fin in the box.
Got sharked on one and and stripped a few hooks from some more Wahoo strikes.
After catching a seafood platter we had to head back and catch are cruise ship so we trolled for Marlin on the ride in having no luck there.This Downeast boat is set up to catch fish. And the guys that run it so it well.
We showed up early and left early,if we didn’t have a ship to catch I’m sure we would have stayed later than we already had stayed.Thanks again Captain Russell and Josh we will fish again

Had a great morning on the Sea Wolfe with Capt Russell & Daniel.  The Sea Wolfe has everything you need for the beginner to the expert fishermen.  The crew was very skilled and continued to find spots for us to get some Wahoo and a big baracuda.  In addition, the crew were very accommodating for mom who has some health issues and was just there to enjoy a day on the water with her family.  Lastly, Capt Russell has a relationship with a local restaurant that was able to cook our catch and provide us with a great lunch to finish our fishing trip.  Just another example of what makes Bermuda such an awesome place!  Can’t wait to come back and do it all again!

My son and daughter caught some awesome barracuda which we are having the restaurant at the hotel cook tonight.  The captain was always changing fishing tactics adapting to what’s out there.
