- Captain Jon Everetts is a local, lifelong fishing fanatic who has been testing his angling skills on this island for over 44 years and has been fishing professionally for over 35 years. It's safe to say he has a real passion for the sport! His favorite part of the job, besides fishing itself, is meeting new people and introducing them to this fantastic fishery, as well as swapping stories and incredible angling tales. His other passion in life is his dog, Trey – he named his charter after him! If you're a dog lover as well as a fishing fanatic, Trey can accompany you on your adventure on the 2 and 3 hour shark trips. With such a friendly, experienced captain and first mate on board, you know your trip with Black Dog Fishing Charters will be one you'll remember for a lifetime! 6 hour or more charters is required to fish for eating fish. Max of 4 people is recommended for the 6 + hour trips. If you punch in CC Haigh Jr Boat Landing on gps, it should take you right to the pick up spot.
