We sailed with Capt. Steve in June 2021 and had a great trip.  This time we brought my 5 year old granddaughter in addition to our almost 8 year old.  What impresses me about Capt. Steven is his competence as a charter captain and as important his skill with making the trip fun and engaging for the kids.  We were fighting the fall full moon this trip so the action was slower.  A storm three days before left the water cloudy, but Capt. Steve found fish behind an island and we couldn’t be happier.  Thanks Steve.

We had a great fishing day with Capn Steve. Caught our limit on an 8 hour trip with a family of 6 adults. Great weather all day on the water and rain held off until we were back on shore. Our family talked highly on how hard the captain worked to keep lines in the water and get walleye in the boat. He taught us all new tricks about walleye fishing. it was a great experience for us all. We loved the walleye fishing lessons and story tellin! Would recommend Fishhound Charters to anyone. We will be back again!

We had a great fishing trip with Fishhound (Captain Steve and First Mate Austin).  We were definitely impressed with the fishing setup and all of the gear that Steve had.  Great personalities were a bonus.  Caught our limit for four people and were back to the dock in less than six hours while other boats struggled to limit out.  This was the first guided trip on Lake Erie for my husband and I although we are avid fishermen on our home lake and have done guided trips in Minnesota.  We brought my parents on this trip with Fishhound. My Dad had a sour opinion of guided fishing after having some bad experiences with other guide outfits on Lake Erie but he really enjoyed fishing with Steve and Austin and can’t wait to make another trip North now.  Thanks again, Steve, we hope to see you soon!

We had six guys out for two full days with Steve. He worked hard and was easy to get along with. Fishing was a bit slow but from what we heard on the radio that was pretty typical. Even at that we went home with 30 nice sized fish. The boat was a bit crowded for the 6 of us but other than that it was a great trip. We’re already making plans for our next trip.
