First time ever out on the ocean fishing and I picked the right captain! We caught a fish literally in the first 5 minutes. We then proceeded to slay it the rest of the 3 hours until the trip was over. The crew that Captain Chris had was really awesome and fun to talk to.

Just a fair warning if you are into fishing; deep sea charter fishing is a little different. I felt like I was more there just hanging out. To be fair I was able to reel in the fish, but you don’t bring in the liter line nor do you use the gaff at all - that is all for the crew. I’m sure if I asked I probably could have, but I was on a shared trip and didn’t want to risk any catches for the other folks on the trip.

The experience was still amazing and I would for sure do it again and would recommend you go out on Captain Chris’s boat. It is very clean, spacious, and he has all the equipment you need!

Bad weather all week.  Had several charters cancelled.  They squeezed us in (3 people) with 3 others to try to maximize the trip.  Caught 2 total fish.  Not the fault of the crew, but the fishing was not great.  The water was really choppy and the captain was kind of gruff.  The person I talked to on the phone was not the actual captain.  Not the best experience, but not totally the fault of the crew.  Under the circumstances they did the best they could.

All my son wanted was to catch a Barracuda while we visited Florida.  So for his birthday we purchased a trip out on the water with Fish Lauderdale.  I told Captain Bob and “Tuna” Joe about his wish, and they both acknowledged it was a long shot, but it could happen.  The long shot got worse when my son started getting sea sick.  Yes, I should have given him some stuff to keep him from getting sick, but I don’t get sick so I didn’t think about it.  Anyhow, we decided enough was enough and didn’t want him to never want to go out again so we headed back in.  As we trolled back toward the shore on of the rods went down.  My son jumped into the chair to fight the fish, now not feeling so sick or so picky about what kind of fish it might be.  As it turned out, the miracle occurred and he landed his Barracuda.  Amazing.  We then proceeded in toward calmer waters where he was able to feel better and still fish off the back of the boat.  Captain Bob made what could have been a trip not worth remembering to a trip my son will never forget.  And those of you that fish know that any boat captain who can pull off that kind of fishing miracle must be in good graces with the fishing gods.

As for the details… visiting with Chris on the phone and getting all the information was super easy.  Easy transaction.  Enjoyed visiting with Captain Bob and “Tuna” Joe while were out on the water.  I should also mention that Chris called me a couple days before our scheduled trip and moved it back a few days because of forecasted high winds and rough seas.  Very much appreciated!  Thanks guys… we had a great time!
