What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Chattanooga, Tennessee for the first time?

I wish we had visited Tennessee later in March. I think the leaves would have been breaking bud then.

Get a license and a guide, learn the spots, and how to fish them. Then you are ready to go on your own. Or buy a rod and license and learn on your own. But get fishing!
