A productive day aboard the Rainbow Runner with Captain Gerald hooking Rooster fish and a skipjack.

Fantastic inshore half day for Shawn. A 25-30 pound roosterfish, a few tilefish, a small mackerel, and two Jack Crevalle. That's a pretty good haul for a 5 hour day.

Lindsay and Billy had a great day with Captain Gerald. Reeled in a 7 foot sailfish and caught some red snapper for dinner. A great time was had by all!

Eric and Brian had a busy day with Captain Gerald on the Rainbow Runner. They caught a nice Mahi Mahi and some Grouper. The prize of the day was the Cubera Snapper, which isn't common in Tamarindo. Captain Gerald believes that this fish was around 40 years old, so the fish was released.

Early on November 30, Matt F. left Playa Tamarindo with Captain Gerald on the Rainbow Runner. Heading out for a 3/4 day, in Matt's words, "I would like to catch something big." Little did he know, he would catch something big. After trolling for 30-45 minutes, Matt hooked into a nice 25lb bull mahi and he was very happy. Around about 9:30am, Matt hooked into another big fish, which after a long run, jumped and proved to be a large blue marlin. The fight lasted three hours. The fish was approximately half of the length of the boat and estimated to weigh between **hidden content** pounds. The fish was revived, and released safely.

These guys went out on an early half day (sunrise charter) and caught Roosterfish and a beautiful Amberjack.
