Arrive before 6am as this is the start time. Not 7am. Fish were active and feeding early.

You can't control mother nature and be prepared to alter plans. Regardless you will have fun and catch something.

My Captain says fishing in May (and April) are the best time if you want to be catching and not just fishing. It seems that Salmon is a bit harder to time, but Lake Trout seem abundant in May. We like Lake Trout, so it is not a disappointment.

If you're concerned with motion sickness, this was a great 3-hr trip with no problems with motion sickness. Also, we had 8, 10, and 12 year olds who loved this charter.

We were told that June can be a very hit or miss month. The previous day’s trip ended with 0 caught and we ended ours, less than 24 hours later, with 8.

Go with Captain Tim of Powderhorn Sportfishing. He is a blast! His first mate and himself are super helpful, they give you pointers and tips.

Be ready for a good time and if you hook a king he will be a fight to get in
