Fall fishing is in full swing down here in Naples, FL. The recent cool down in temperature has been a nice change of pace for everyone, including the fish! All of the typical fall suspects are around. Offshore we're seeing nice schools of Cobia on the wrecks with lots of other options to fill the gaps as well. Bonitas, Barracudas, Jack's, Goliath's, Snook, Mackerel, Snapper and triple tail have all been common catches on our recent offshore and nearshore trips. Inshore fishing has been very solid as well with many fish heading deeper into the backcountry in anticipation of winter. Snook, Redfish and jacks have been very steady with some trout mixed in as well. The bait is plentiful, the weather has been beautiful and the good fishing is just an added bonus! We have some limited availability for the upcoming holiday week so book accordingly!

Fall is here and we're starting to see the redfish moving into the backwaters. Working a gold spoon or a Jig with a paddle tail has seemed to be the ticket to get these fish to eat if you're lucky you might even get one to eat a topwater lure.

6hr trip today started out filling the live well with a one and done cast net of live bait. A little breezy forecast but got on a great snapper bite filling the cooler with some tasty lane and mangrove snappers. Then finished trip off with some fun fighting barracuda as well as a 60lb Goliath grouper.

As we are coming up on the end of October, we are finally out of the 90 degree weather and the water temps have become cooler. This means seeing more of those larger fish feeding along the mangroves and backwater areas. Snook season is still going strong till the first of December so get those dates in the calendar for a chance to catch one of these awesome fish. Tight lines, Capt Slade Johnson

We left the dock at 11 pm and set out on the water and it didnt take long to find where the tarpon were sitting for that nights tide. Tarpon are one or my favorite fish to target at night. They are usually willing to eat a small soft plastic bait or fly. And almost always willing to eat a live bait, if you want to catch a tarpon now is one of my favorite times of the year to go get on them so boon now!!

A fishing trip to the nearshore reefs and wreaks off the coast. With the weather cooling off, the fishing will start to heat up wifh the gag grouper and cobia moving in. There are an abundance of permit as well as big sharks and goliath grouper for anyone who wants to catch a true giant! Perfect for all ages!
