Lake Tawakoni definitely produces a lot of fish and a.lot of big fish at that! Fish are up off the bottom somedays and other days are active and well off the bottom. Fish are beimg caught between 15 feet and 35 feet deep depending on cloud cover and water clarity. We are using RSR Lures "Do It Shad" and "Irish Minnow" slabs to catch limits of White Bass. These are great eating fish and a lot of fun to catch as they are a hard fighter on lighr to medium weight tackle! We are almost completely booled for June but we have dates in July and August still open. Send us a message to get check and see if we have other dates open with our captains.

Our captains and clients have been enjoying some incredibly great fishing on Lake Tawakoni. The White Bass and occasional Hybrid Striper have been smacking the lures from our sponsor RSR Lures and regularly putting multiple limits of fish in the boat for wonderful Summertime fish fries! Our calendar for June is completed full but we still have lots of dates in July and August. Most of our boats currently have t-tops for shade so keeping cool won't be a problem. Lake Grapevine and Tawakoni Report Week of 5/23 to 5/29 This has been an incredible week of fishing for all our Captains! Limits of White Bass have been coming from both lakes in water as shallow as 3 feet to 40 feet of water. When fish are chasing bait shallow and chasing bait Keitech USA Easy Shiner Minnows have been getting hammered by White Bass up to 16 inches. When that slows down it has been all on our electronics to find and catch fish. Look everywhere near structure is our advice right now. When we do find them we are dropping RSR Lures down in just about any size or shape and catching them quick. This Summer and Fall should be just as good as right now. Every once in a while you have a day that is "perfect" in just about every way possible. Monday, May 24th was one of those days for Captain Omar and his friends Dan, Bill and Curtis. Dan brought his dad Bill and father-in-law Curtis out for an early Fathe's Day trip. They took off from Goodys Marina Lake Tawakoni and pretty quickly found fish pushing bait along a wind blown shoreline. The trio was throwing Keitech USA Easy Shiner soft plastics on RSR Lures jig heads into 2 feet of water and caught fish consistently for 2 hours. When that died down and after some searching White Bass were found again and the game was on to finish a limit of big Tawakoni White Bass. RSR Lures "Do It Shad" in 1 ounce did the trick there. Looks like our two youngest captains are going to be a great tag team!! Captain Jonathan and Captain Bradley both had trips on Lake Tawakoni and the team effort showed back at the dock with a stringer and dock full of fish as well as lots of smiles! Captain Jonathan had a young man out for a full day of birthday fishing fun and the boat was loaded up with the big White Bass Lake Tawakoni is noted for. Capt Bradley and the Foust family got out for a half day trip while mom was in town and he didn't disappoint either. Ms Debbie was there as crew to keep these two out of trouble! The weather was nasty and our Frogg Toggs Raingear kept our captains, crew and customers dry. Fishing is going good everywhere Luck O' The Irish puts an RSR Lures slab in the water! Our Bobo's Thumper is still doing the trick to bring fish under the boat as well. Thank goodness for the danco pliers they had on their hips to unhook the 200 plus White Bass that were caught! Lake Tawakoni is on fire for our guides! These White Bass and the occasional Hybrid are slamming the RSR Lures Do It Shad in White/Silver flash and 3/4 ounce on the cloudy days we have been having and any color on bright sunny days. The fish are holding anywhere between 14 to 30 feet currently and good electronics are a must! The water is still cool enough that slow steady movement is getting bit over a fast big raise and drop of the bait.
