Offshore fishing trip for Grouper
As we headed offshore we knew the seas were going to be a little rough. We made sure that our customers were okay with that and they said let’s go for it. Well, they were 3-5 with the occasional 6 and our 32 foot century handled the seas beautifully. We went 40 miles out and started fishing in about 85 feet of water.
On our first stop we caught a few lane snapper and some undersized grouper so we moved to our second stop where we were able to catch a mangrove snapper and our first keeper grouper.
The bite was hot and every time our customers dropped their line they were reeling in fish.
At our 3rd spot we caught 3 more keeper grouper and some very nice white grunt and lane snapper.
Our final stop of the day we reeled in about 20 undersized grouper and our final keeper.
As we headed in the seas died down and it was a great ride.
We cleaned all the fish for our customers and vacuum packed and froze the fish so our customers could take home with them
