Had a fanstatic trip the other day with Charles and Phillip Coates from Panama. They contacted me and wanted to go catch and release bull reds, they are avid fisherman from that area catching Peacock Bass and have never tangled with the mgihty SE Louisiana Bull Red. From the first cast it was on with a beautiful 29" red, and the action didn't stop there. We spent the day chasing bulls early and then catching and releasing slot reds between 19"-24". The fishing action is as hot as the weather, both the trout and reds have been on a feeding frenzy. The fall transition should start taking place and the fish should start moving in closer.
