We fished our first tournament of the year, this past Easter in La Ribera BCS. The tournament had 4 categories: Yellowtail, Dorado, Tuna and Wahoo. We decided to head towards the island and fish the banks there, it was a 40 mile run, but worth it. We hooked up on this yellowfin tuna, that weighted 58.4 lbs to make it the biggest fish of the tournament. Followed by the wahoo that was beaten by a 37lb and finally landed a small dorado, that was the only one presented at the weight station but it was 1 lb short of the minimum. Very good overall day giving us the title of champions and a $2000 usd prize money and a ticket for the State championship.
