Steaming Hot Fishing!
Little rain thus far this summer has blessed us with clear salty water in the St. Johns River, the Intracoastal Waterway and their connecting tributaries. The flounder bite has been exceptional and redfish have been plentiful. See the attached photos from a recent trip with Mario and his wife Charlamain. The rain is on it’s way and these salinity levels will gradually go down. Spotted Seatrout will be abundant. Shrimp are beginning to run and our night time trout fishing will be world class for the remainder of the summer which is also a great way to beat the heat. Other possible catches are Jack Crevalle, Ladyfish, Tarpon, Brackish waters are yielding Black Bass and Snook in the mix as well.
