We have had some great Species action at our Inshore & Offshore Reefs this past week aboard GOOD DAY fishing in Costa Rica with my good buddy Alastair Macleod visiting from the Isle of Man. Our catches have included: Wahoo Silky Snapper Mullet Snapper Yellow Tail Snapper Snowy Grouper Jack Crevalle Big Eye Trevally Sierra Mackerel Dorado Bonitos Yellow Fin Tuna Rainbow Runners Huge Blue Runners Tuna Mackerel Tilefish Plus a few other wierd & wonderful species! Some other highlights of our few days included raising a Marlin on a Nomad Design Tackle Mad Scad we had out for a Wahoo! And then losing 4 serious Fish, very likely all Cubera Snappers, 3 of them busting us in the Reef and just when we thought we had the better of one after I won the 10 minute tug of war to keep the fish out of the Reef, the 7/0 circle hook only went & snapped with the fish just 30 feet under the boat! These fish deserve complete respect & always keep us coming back for more! Ali has one day remaining & let’s see what else we can add!
