Marek and Jimmy joined me this past Monday for a quick morning trip. We were dealt a poor hand that included blustery winds and frigid temperatures. Marek stressed that he really wanted to catch a redfish. I knew we were going to be punished get to and from where I've been getting a few. It took a lot longer to get the bite than I would have liked but he was rewarded with a nice upper slot fish. We tucked our tail and and headed for some sheltered areas to grocery shop and picked away a some decent size sheepshead to finish the day.
