Trout, Trout and trout

Finally after two months of being down between surgeries and Tropical Storm Barry, I finally completed the transition to the salty waters of Leeville, La. To say the least it was an eye opening weekend, due to the fresh water intrusion in the Biloxi Marsh most of the true saltwater species of fish had either vacated or move far enough offshore it was not feasible to chase them. So off we moved to some true saltwater fishing, you could feel the salt in the air...Loved every minute of it. Started off the morning with the wind blowing a little harder than I would have liked to hit the beaches, so we did a little bouncing around on the interior areas. First stop we found some hungry sharks willing to entertain us for a while. Later we moved to a lee side shoreline in a interior bay and it was on for the trout. Found mostly keeper frying size trout with some 16" trout mixed in. The trout are on fire in Leeville and will only get better with the upcoming months. This week the full moon hits and the big girls will be blowing up on anything that resembles a pogie or croacker. Come book your trip today and get in on your adventure of a lifetime.
