16/02/2016 We had a double strike today..We were fishng about 10 nautical miles from the shore. At about 10a.m the 50 pounds reel starts singing.. We slowed down the boat gradually ..And a Blue Marlin coming from nowhere grabbed the lure on the short rigger, a fish of about 250 pounds..The Marlin started to jump in the direction of the boat. We accelerated both engines to set the hook, unfortunately the hook went off. Another fish came on the long rigger playing with the lure, it was a sailfish but then it went away. Mr Tim started fighting the fish of the first bite, it was a 60 pounds sailfish that we landed after 20 mins.
