Ponce Inlet and the bridges north and south are holding plenty of redfish with some black drum, snook and tarpon. Redfish are taking a variety of baits from crabs, mullet, pinfish and cut bait. Fishing the bottom on either side of the tide has been productive

As a native to Port Orange, Captain Dusty spent his childhood in the backwater creeks and bays, chasing tailing Redfish and schools of Spotted Seatrout. He has decades of angling experience under his belt. He relocated to Pennsylvania for a while, and this is when he realized how much he likes fishing in Port Orange – being away from this fishery was torture!
