Finally, a calm morning after a weekend of high winds.
Near perfect water conditions made it easy to get into a lot of areas that had been inaccessable due to the windy conditions.
We started out the morning with streak of smaller Snook. The water temperture had dropped a little over the weekend and the bite was a little slow at first. As the day warmed up and the sun came through the clouds, the bite picked up as well. Lots of Redfish kept the lines tight. Most were low slot sized fish but a couple were over slot fish. Mixed in with the Redfish were plenty of Black Drum, Sheepshead, and Mangrove Snapper.
