It’s possible, it could’ve been a misunderstanding of what our objective was, but we didn’t go out and pursue what we wanted to catch and we was only a half hour late getting to the marina, And we went out for eight hours. We caught three Dorados, but we wanted to go for Marlín or sell fish, which did not happen. He tried, but he didn’t go out far enough from what I could see, and I talk to other people that went out and they said you have to go out a long ways and early in really early in the morning live in learn the food was horrible. It got hot. It was not even put in a cooler. It was shit in the cab of the boat uncovered with no ice.

Yes it was a hot day for sure. I apologize about the sandwiches. Sept heat in Cabo is brutal! As for leaving at 0430 to go way out that has me completely lost. Our Sportfishing permits issued by Mexican Port Authorities clearly states we are restricted from departing prior to 0600. I know of nobody that departs before that or has. Possibly a private boat but doubtful. And going far out? The marlin bite (which has been slow) was 2–5 miles out from Cabo Falso to Rancho Solmar, not way out. We worked that area raising a blue Marlin and striped marlin which did not stick, they came off. Who you talked to obviously was completely uninformed. The 3 dorado we’re nice yes, but incedental. I’m actually surprised by this as enjoyed our day out as well as the crew. Again I apologize for the sandwich meltdown but basically our day was 0 for 2 on billfish and 3 dorado captured.

Booked with a full day with Captain Casey & Crew last weekend and had a great time. We landed 3 Dorado in the first hour or so and then then more later in the day. We also fished closer to shoreline to catch some Sierra mid morning and then spent the rest of the day chasing the marlin. No luck with the billfish, but not for lack of trying as the captain worked longer than expected in the effort. Still had a great day of fishing while making memories with my son and friends and happy to bring back a bunch of fresh Mahi and Sierra for dinner.

Captain Casey, Poli, & Jorje are amazing!! They were all great with the kids too! They definitely know what they’re doing/talking about when it comes to fishing!! We all caught a fish or 3! We even got to see whales! It was an epic day!! The snacks are amazing too - awesome burritos!! Thank you so much guys!! We will definitely be back for more fun!!
We took our 3 little boys, 11 years old and younger on this half day fishing trip. It was great. Although we didn’t catch much, the boys enjoyed what they did catch. I have gone on many deep sea fishing trips so I know sometimes the fish bite and sometimes they do not and I don’t fault the crew at all. They actually extended our trip so we could try other fishing places in the hope for more bites. I would highly recommend them. The food and drinks they provided was worth it too!
Casey and his crew were awesome. I was nervous at first since we headed to a spot where other boats weren’t, but then we were getting a fish on the hook non stop. Casey knew what other charters did not and found the best spots. Unfortunately a member of our party got a little seasick so we cut our trip short. We still ended up with 4 solid Sierra fish in little time spent on the water. Will fish with Casey again in the future and couldn’t recommend him enough. FIVE STARS!
Thank you, Lawrence! We enjoyed it very much! Short but sweet! Casey Poli Jorje
