Went in off season trip with james and had a great time. He went the extra mile on explaining the strategy, as well as seeing we were in the best spots possible. Caught my first redfish ever and was told something I’ve never heard “ this fish is to big to keep “ lol. Great time !!!
Four of us (parents and 2 teenagers) had a lovely morning fishing with the reserved, personable Captain James. He is very knowledgeable about the area and very calm and easy going. We lost innumerable hooks in our quest to get a bunch of snapper and he never lost patience while fixing our lines, baiting our hooks or even casting for us. Each of us got to reel in a satisfying amount of fish and would highly recommend a trip with Captain James!
Fish was slower than we hoped, but that’s out of the captains control, caught a handful of really nice trout, and several catfish. I would recommend this charter, but I would prefer earlier in the year.
Fishing was slow during the heat of the day, but captain James kept us moving to different spots to find the bite, and it paid off. Thanks, looking forward to going out again next time we’re in town
