That was a fun trip. Young Brantley really wanted a redfish, and he fought and landed three of them. That shark gave him a tussle, too.
A great Trip with Capitain Joe. Spent two days with him I will never forget. Day one we couldn’t keep the Reds off the hook. Caught more than we could keep. These were large Reds most keepers. Day two the Trout took over. Caught several about one inch short but caught my limit over 18”. What I like about captain Joe is he works very hard for you to make sure you have a rewarding experience. See you next Spring if not in February.
Chuck is fun to fish with. He enjoys the quiet and being on the water all day, no pressure, but when he’s in my boat, the fish always oblige.
Fishing 8 hours plus with Captain Joe was a great experience I will never forget. He is very enjoyable to be with and knowledgeable of fishing the Steinhatchee Flats. If the fish didn’t bite in one place we moved to another working the winds and tides to catch our limit of Reds and Speckled Trout. He knows where the fish are and how to catch them. Looking forward to my next trip with him in October. Thanks Captain Joe

Chuck is a good fisherman and actually caught and released trout that were 22 and 25 inches long, because they were egg-laden females. We were so excited and hurried, trying to release them in good shape, our few I-phone pictures came out blurry.
This was our second trip with Capt. Joe. My grandson and I enjoy the real fishing experience on the flats in the 16 ft. boat fishing the shallows for reds or spotted trout. Capt. Joe is serious about putting us on fish even when fishing pressure is high.
