Do to a rainy week of weather we changed our fishing date from a Friday to a Saturday and despite all the cloudy/dirty water conditions Capt Joe still managed to put us on and keep us on fish all day. Very knowledgeable captain and past fishing stories kept us entertained all day. Enjoyed the trip very much and learned a lot as well.
Hot day with murky water, but these guys put 10 redfish in the boat with seven released. Had some feisty blacktip sharks up to 20 pounds, and we had to follow them with the boat before bringing them alongside the boat.
Waiting for tide , had a wonderful breakfast at a resturant Capt. Joe suggested. Picked C. J. Due to his small boat. Have always had larger boats, wanted to see how enjoyable it would be. Rest assured this boat and Capt. gets the job done. A small boat is in my future as well as future trips with Capt. Joe.
Fun trip, slinging artificial baits all day. This couple really know how to fish, I think we had 35 trout in the boat, with eight keepers. Hardly anyone else out there, in February.
Captain Joe was very kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend fishing with him.
If you are looking to catch trout, this is the man to go to. We left the water with 6 keepers and one over 20 inches. Due to the storm, red fish weren’t really biting but I have a feeling they would have had it not rained so hard the day before.
Six keeper trout, the biggest 21.5 inches. Released 25 short trout. No redfish, but that’s where she hooked a 6-foot shark on trout tackle and we chased it with the boat. Fun day.
We caught really nice redfish in the morning. Tons of Sea Trout. Some surprise flounder. It was a great day on the water with a very experienced guide! Highly recommend it!
Great trip with the guys visiting from Wisconsin. We lost count of the trout caught using artificials. Only a few redfish, but the four flounder in one day were pretty good for this area.
